Welcome to Dr Uberoy's Practice
Notice: Dr Kumar’s merger with Rosewood Medical Centre
Dr Kumar’s practice partner, Dr V K Uberoy, is retiring on 30 November 2016, and the surgeries at 30 Dorian Road and 203 Rainham Road will close on this date.
We can now confirm that Dr Kumar of Dr Uberoy and Dr Kumar’s practice will be merging with another local GP practice, Rosewood Medical Centre, from
1 December 2016.
Patients who wish to keep seeing Dr Kumar will be able to do so at Rosewood Medical Centre, 30 Astra Close, Hornchurch RM12 5NJ from 1 December 2016. You will also be able to make an appointment with any of Rosewood’s other GPs.
If you prefer to remain registered with Dr Kumar you don’t need to do anything, as your medical records will transfer to Rosewood automatically – your appointments will just be held at Rosewood Medical Centre from 1 December 2016. Dr Kumar’s staff will be moving to Rosewood with him.
If this new location is not convenient, you can choose to register with a different local GP. Visit www.nhs.uk and enter your postcode in the “Find Local Services” box to find out more about the practices near you, and how to contact them. Alternatively you can call the NHS England customer contact line on 0300 311 2233 for guidance.
Rosewood Medical Centre is located half way between Drs Uberoy and Kumar’s current Dorian Road and Rainham Road premises. It is served by the 252 bus, which stops a short walk away in South End Road.
From 1 December 2016, the telephone number you will need to contact Dr Kumar and his team to book an appointment, request a prescription or access any GP service at Rosewood Medical Centre will be 01708 523168.

Access & Parking
A ramp at the patients entrances at both sites provides easier access for wheelchairs. The patients’ toilet at Hornchurch surgery is suitable for use by the disabled. Rainham surgery has ground level toilet facilities.
Please help us by not using the doctors’ parking space – could cause a delay on an emergency call. Also please do not to park so that a neighbour’s drive is blocked.
